Flamingo Hill Camp is situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies within the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. The camp is an eco-friendly establishment.
The camp comprise of 25 tents. The tents are furnished with the understated luxury required by the modern traveller. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron and crisp cottons, each tent has been meticulously planned to maximise comfort.
Each tent has an en ensuite bathroom to the rear with a flush loo and showers with hot running water to wash away the dust of the day. At the front of each tent is a verandah overlooking the plains, with canvas safari chairs to sit back and enjoy the view.
The main lodge has a large restaurant, under a high thatched roof, though evening meals are sometimes taken under the stars. There is also a bar for post-safari sundowners, a cosy lounge with board games and a roaring fire and a small shop with goodies to bring home.
